The new MS 231 C-BE comfort chain saw with ‘stay sharp’ Picco Duro chain, Chain Quick Tensioning (B) and ErgoStart (E) offers great handling and simple maintenance. Featuring the first low-profile ‘Picco Duro’ saw chain with carbide cutters, the cutting teeth stay sharp for up to four times as long as those on standard saw chain. Emissions are cut by 70% and fuel consumption is up to 20% lower compared to a STIHL 2-stroke engine of the same power output without 2-MIX technology. It can be purchased with a 14“ or 16“ Bar.
